Neil is currently programme director for Network Rail, he has over 30years of programme and project programme management experience within the rail industry, Network rail, East Midlands Trains, London Underground and Manchester light rail. He has delivered complex programmes of works across all sectors.

Neil is passionate about raising the standard of programme management within the industry and the wider profession.

Presentation Synopsis - Delivery in the midst of rapid change. How do we make best use of technology, tools and techniques to support us in delivery?

Following feedback from the national rail passengers survey a major programme of deployment of state of the art, free WiFi infrastructure at 19 UK Network Rail managed railway stations was commissioned. This session will demonstrate how the complex issues were overcome, including programme integration, building consents, multiple stakeholders and legislation requirements across differing UK nations. The programme was a delivered on time and to budget despite the on going pandemic.
