An event without a set programme before the start time!

The Project Management UnConference sought to bring alive the concept of the Unconference into the Project Management and Digital realm for the first time.

The event had no set programme, but this came to life by the attendees. Everyone was given the opportunity to propose a presentation title for the benefit of others.

All offers were gratefully accepted with each presenter assigned a room for other guests to join them and learn more.

The programme was created!

Then it was all down to people's personal preferences on what room to visit, with the ability to move from room to room and learn along the way.

It was great to see the variety of project management topics on offer, these included:

  • What is Change Management?
  • The Green Oscar goes to...Hydrogen?
  • Cultivating a Community Interest Company
  • Leading your projects authentically
  • Meetings and Event
  • Chartered Project Professional (ChPP)
  • Data Science
  • Leadership and program management success
  • Project Leadership as a PM

At the stated time, the rooms came alive with attendees visiting the speakers and engaging in rich conversations around a unique project management topics.

The event came to an end with everyone coming together in the main room to discuss the outcomes from the rooms and the overall experience.

The event was seen as a success with the project management community wishing to experience a similar event in the future.
