Host

Richard Tulley became the director of programme and project management at Sopra Steria in May 2017. His role is about enabling a sustainable, predictable, and profitable business through the development of an industry recognised programme and project management capability, borne of:

  • Developing Sopra Steria’s programme and project management talent; and
  • Enabling programme and project management control through effective process and method, underpinned by project management tooling, MI, and insight.

Richard has established a UK Programme and Project Management Practice of circa 530 programme and project professionals within a diverse business, leveraging corporate partnerships with both the APM and the House of PMO.

Building upon a 26-year career in programme and project management, where the last 20 years have been focused on the delivery of complex programmes, largely within the public sector, Richard’s role has enabled him to view project manager development from “both ends of the telescope”.

It has also allowed him to develop his passion for coaching and mentoring. Richard is an APM Fellow and a member of the APM Corporate Advisory Group.

This webinar is suitable for professionals with any level of experience.

I found this not only insightful but also evidence of the clear differences between a leader and a manager approach to delivering change. As a coach myself, it's heartening to see that the skills and concepts relating to the softer side of life have leached into the arsenal of the change professionals toolkit. Great Webinar
