Gareth Stapleton, APM Fellow and Founder of international project management and management consultancy Rise International, has been named on the Top 100 Influential People 2023 list.

The Top 100 programme recognises individuals whom it describes as being ‘at the top of their game’ in fields such as business, education, environmental sustainability, science and many more. Places on the list are awarded by an independent panel of judges. Other notable names that feature on the new list include Chair of the John Lewis Partnership, Dame Sharon White DBE; adventurer and broadcaster, Ben Fogle; artist Sir Anish Kapoor CBE; Director of the Royal Society, Dame Julie Maxton DBE; and Dragons’ Den star Steven Bartlett.

In Awarding Gareth his place on the list, the Top 100 judges highlighted his reputation as a true agent of industry change and praised his professional record, which encompasses architecture, consultancy, entrepreneurship, academia and authorship.

He has worked on award-winning projects for a wide range of organisations and commissioning bodies, including Apple, Amazon, The Queen’s Green Canopy - Buckingham Palace, Google, Oxford University, The Royal Academy of Music, The Royal Opera House and many more.

Commenting on the award, Gareth said: “I’m delighted to be featured on the list. I’m very surprised but very happy to be among such a broad range of people who are having such a positive impact in their fields.

“It’s very gratifying to know that my contribution to my profession has been recognised, but also very humbling to be in such company.”
