Association for Project Management (APM), the chartered body for the project profession, has been announced as a finalist in three categories in the Association Excellence Awards 2019.

The Association Excellence Awards are the acknowledged accolade to recognise and reward the hard-won achievements of trade bodies, professionals membership organisations and associations.

APM has been shortlisted in the following categories:

  • Overall Best Association (over 1,000 members)
  • Best Association Awards Event – for the APM Project Management Awards 2018
  • Best Association Partnership or Collaboration – for Make Change Happen, a national campaign to inspire and raise awareness of the project management profession.

Debbie Dore, chief executive of APM, said: “We are extremely proud to have been shortlisted as a finalist in three distinct categories in the Association Excellence Awards 2019.

“As former winners, we understand how prestigious these awards are, and the high standards of excellence required to be named as a finalist – excellence that APM and its members strive for in everything we do.

“Being named as a finalist is positive recognition of our employees’ hard work and dedication, and is welcome news for our members and corporate partners, who gain further assurance that APM’s innovative events and programmes are regarded as examples of best practice within our sector.”

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at the Kia Oval, London on Friday 11 October.
