No, the qualifications offer structured progression, however, you should start at a level appropriate to your needs and experience.
How do I know if I am at the right level for your qualifications?
Each qualification has sample examination papers to help you ascertain the right level of qualification for you.

When do you need to receive application forms?
Application forms are only required for Risk qualification candidates.
Candidates taking the Introductory Certificate and APMP qualifications through an Accredited Training Provider are not be required to submit an individual application form. APM request that the Provider provides your name and individual email address. Any further personal information required will be requested from you at a later date.
If you are booking an APM Open Exam please follow the guidance here.
If you are taking the Introductory Certificate exam online, an application form is not required; your Accredited Provider will register you and arrange your examination at a time to suit you.
For the APM Practitioner Qualification we must receive the application form 3 weeks prior to the event.
When will I get my exam results?
Notification of your results will be provided within (we cannot give results by telephone or email):
- Introductory Certificate paper exam: 6 weeks
- Introductory Certificate online exam: 3 working days
- APMP: 10 weeks
- Practitioner Qualification: 6 weeks
- Risk Certificate Level 1: 6 weeks
- Risk Certificate Level 2: 10 weeks
