Katherine Bloomfield

Katherine is highly experienced in supporting organisations to deliver complex procurement projects and programmes. Her expertise covers the application of systems thinking approaches to build efficiencies into commercial functions and procurement systems, as well as large and complex procurement delivery. Katherine is interested in commercial transformation, complex public procurement programmes, operating model design, and systems thinking. 

Prior to joining PA Consulting, Katherine was a Research Fellow to the Infrastructure and Projects Authority’s ‘Project X’, a research programme which seeks to improve the delivery of large and complex government projects. Katherine has worked alongside and effectively collaborated with senior government practitioners where she has developed, tested and applied novel soft systems thinking tools to deconstruct complex problems in public sector procurement.
