Welcome to the APM North East Network.

Who we are

We want to build and engage a community of likeminded project professionals in the North East region, sharing knowledge, reaching out and maintaining our visibility across the region, whilst supporting and developing the future of project management and the next generation of professionals.

What do we do?

We want to increase the visibility of North East project professionals by highlighting local opportunities and projects, offer a greater understanding about the North East project landscape, and offer support and development for how to progress to chartered status.

Fostering a sense of community for project professionals in the North East is important for us. We want this platform to provide a collaborative space for networking, discussions and collaboration. We also offer events and meet ups throughout the year that will bring together professionals across the region into one place.

We provide our followers with support and development at all levels, from students to people seeking support for qualifications, memberships and ChPP. Our platform also offers an exciting programme of events and networking sessions to help you connect with other project professionals in the area.

How to get involved?

Our community is open to both those working in and those located in the North East region. We invite project professionals of all types to join us, whether you are starting out or a seasoned professional. We want to reach as many people in the region as possible, so please get in touch.

Simply follow us to stay up to date with the latest regional news, announcements, and activity.

Superyachts – desperately seeking the business case webinar

Debate: Which will contribute the most to project success, data processing or culture? webinar
We’ve seen national debates, where the panellists are remote and most of the audience don’t have a chance to join the discussion. We brought it local on 27 April 2021 - our four panellists (three from the North East of England) were joined by 20 contributors, again mostly from the North East, and I can say with confidence that most people knew each other at least by reputation. Which makes for a very different style of debate.
