Welcome to the APM Midlands Network. 

Who we are:

We are APM’s largest regional network by membership and geographical size, extending from Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire in the south to Derbyshire and Shropshire in the north.

Our coverage encompasses Birmingham, Coventry, Derby, Leicester, Northampton, Nottingham, Wolverhampton and Worcester.

We offer a variety of exciting opportunities to network and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in project management across the Midlands, including events, volunteering opportunities, awards and webinars.

What we do:

We provide opportunities to connect with like-minded project professionals, gain insights into best practices and leverage the network’s experience from key regional projects.

Whether you prefer in-person events, webinars or collaborative initiatives like our Awards evening, there’s something for everyone.

Our followers range from students to project and program managers, reflecting a highly diverse community. We’re committed to providing equal opportunities for everyone to advance their professional goals.

We also encompass a wide range of industries, including aerospace, automotive, construction, defence, energy, engineering, finance, food, health, manufacturing, retail and transport.

This ongoing volunteering opportunity offers a chance to support and facilitate engagement, knowledge and outreach activities in the network's geographical area.

Volunteers can be a member or non-member of APM and can apply to join a team at anytime.

On 15 October 2024, the APM Midlands Network partnered with PMI UK for an insightful event titled "How to Lead a Project Responsibly: RPM in Action." Hosted at University College Birmingham, the session gathered around 60 project professionals, including dedicated volunteers from the Midlands and several attendees who traveled from Glasgow.
