What is our purpose?
The Defence Sector Interest Network brings together like minded people from across the industry. We will support service personnel who are looking to enter the project profession, potential employers who are looking to recruit, as well as anyone with an interest in the industry.

What do we do?
We will support the delivery of projects through collaborations with other Interest Networks to promote learning and knowledge sharing. We want to grow based on the needs and wants of the industry.

Our Network aims to “join the dots” in terms of matching requirements/needs/transferable skills. Alongside other networks, we will be able to share knowledge, lessons learnt, fill knowledge gaps, and set best practice. The network will also help to bring in “tailor made” project managers in terms of qualified and recognised personnel with the right narrative on their CVs making them desirable for clients.

What do we offer our followers?
Our network will aim to help others to understand the benefits and pathways through the APM and how this will enhance careers in industry. We also plan to hold service leaver events, webinars, and online networking sessions that will be flexible to meet the needs of our volunteers.

Our Interest Network is open to anyone who has an interest in the sector, including project professionals, service personnel, those with a knowledge of defence projects, people who are looking to enter the industry and employers who are looking to recruit. We are here to offer support and to develop the needs and wants of the industry.
