Simon Castle

Associate, Mott MacDonald

Simon is a ChPP MAPM, part of Mott MacDonald’s Commercial Management team in Building and Cities, North Division. He provides support and strategic advice to the Division through compliance with governance, contracts, legal reviews, bids, technical projects and commercial management. He has specialised for over 10 years in project delivery, management and advisory functions for multi-disciplinary projects across the Buildings and Infrastructure portfolio for a number of clients.

Simon established his career during the London 2012 Olympics as an NEC3 Contracts Supervisor and Assistant PM in Highways, later moving onto Buildings projects in the Education, Defence and Health sectors. He has been at the forefront of bespoke project delivery within Frameworks and believes mutual understanding of scope between client, consultant and contractors provides a basis for project success.

He believes in volunteering and mentoring for APM and has provided a number of lectures and business partner functions over the years, as well as developing prospectus MAPM and ChPP applicants.
