Mark originally joined APM as Chief Financial Officer in 2019 from another membership association. He oversees the Service Innovation, Corporate Services and HR & Facilities directorates, and is the executive lead on strategy development, business planning and performance measurement. He is also responsible for managing business continuity and corporate risk.

He has enjoyed a career working in a wide variety of organisations which has included helping non-profits design and implement their strategy as well as growing their commercial income. He has also assisted major organisations improve their finance functions through implementing best practice, and supported large companies incubate new businesses.

Mark is passionate about focussing teams on adding value, improving processes and systems, and enhancing communication skills to make information more accessible. He has a track record of helping organisations make informed, evidence-based decisions.

Other organisations he has worked for include the Natural History Museum, LEGO and Sainsburys.
