Liam Macintyre

Liam’s goal is to support Europe to realise its net zero ambitions. By collaborating with industry partners, he aims to solve big challenges in order to transform our energy system and implement low carbon integrated energy solutions.

Subsea7 is a global leader in the delivery of offshore projects and services for the evolving energy industry. As Strategy Director – Energy Transition, Liam is responsible to develop, drive and coordinate the various Energy Transition activities across the Subsea7 business streams, including Seaway7, Xodus and 4Subsea. A mechanical engineer by trade and an alumni of London Business School, Liam offers business leadership with a solid grounding in engineering principles.

He has held various roles across engineering, project management, business development and senior leadership. He is a champion of cross-industry collaborative contracting partnerships, creating value which would not be possible by each organisation operating as a separate entity, and he holds the behavioural skills to make it a success.
