Group Estimating Lead supporting Estimating and Project Controls across various projects and programmes within Babcock. Alan has over 12 years’ experience in Project Controls within the Petrochemical, Utilities, Civil Engineering and Defence industries. Alan has worked on projects in Babcock since 2017 and is excellently placed to detail the changes and improvements that have and continue to be implemented across Babcock Project Management.

Session: Project and programme management framework

Babcock have been active in a business transformation whilst continuing to work with a strong global customer base to create a safe and secure world, together. A key enablement of this has been the introduction of Babcock’s Global Project Management Framework.

You’ll hear from Raminder Jaswal (Global Project Director) and Alan Young (Group Estimating Lead) who will share their experiences in how Babcock has designed and implemented this framework to standardise and professionalise project management process across the Group. The presentation includes our Integrated Project Control Processes which enhance the control environment of Babcock projects by improving efficiency and aiming to reduce risk by making data driven decisions.
