Dr Teri Okoro is an experienced Project and Programme Manager in the construction sector and current Lead of APM’s People Interest Network, also Board Member at the ARB and a Mayors Design Advocate. She obtained her ChPP in the first cohort and is a Registered Project Professional (RPP). As a Woman in Leadership Scholar she gained her MBA at Ashridge Hult.
Teri has volunteered with Association for Project Management for over a decade in different roles, was previously Chair of Women in Project Management. She was the first recipient of the APM Volunteer Outstanding Achievement Award and was an RIBA BAME Award winner in 2018. She speaks at national and international conferences promoting an inclusive people centred approach and social sustainability in project delivery.
An IPMA Project Excellence Assessor, she sits on various Project and Design Review Panels.

Explore how a conscious inclusion approach can assist to navigate team tensions and foster collaboration in projects. Following an overview of conscious inclusion, its psychological and other advantages, this interactive session invites participants to share experiences and strategies for addressing biases, creating trust, and embracing diverse perspectives. Through facilitated discussions and group activities, practical approaches will be uncovered to building inclusive, people-centred project teams that thrive under pressure.
