Lohith Vaddi

TRU Interface Integration Manager, D2 Global

Lohith Vaddi is a dedicated railway professional with significant experience in delivering large-scale infrastructure programmes. Currently serving as Interface Manager for the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) Programme, Lohith Vaddi plays a crucial role in managing complex interfaces between systems, stakeholders, and train operating companies to ensure cohesive project delivery.

Previously, as a Project Management Assistant within the TRU, Lohith was responsible for maintaining key documentation such as the AMP Tracker, EiS tracker and Land Clearance Certificates Log, supporting the TRU West 4 Phase 1 works, and enhancing project reporting through the development of dashboards and tracking design stages. This role provided a comprehensive understanding of the integration challenges faced in rail projects.

In addition to professional responsibilities, Lohith leads external relations for the Northwest Young Rail Professionals (YRP), fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across the rail sector. With a master’s degree in construction project management from the University of Manchester, Lohith combines technical expertise with innovative management approaches to drive successful project outcomes.

Discover how interface management operates at the strategic level and supports the successful delivery of the Transpennine Route Upgrade Project (TRU). The focus of the Interface Integration Manager will be on aligning systems, stakeholders, and dependencies at a strategic level to ensure cohesive, community-focused outcomes.

Alongside this, the Integration Project Manager, will provide insights into how tactical integration is managed on the ground to deliver seamless programme execution. This combined perspective will demonstrate how strategic and tactical approaches work in tandem to overcome challenges, drive innovation, and achieve the overall objectives of the TRU programme.
