Business Operations Manager, Liverpool Film Office

Gemma Ward joined Liverpool City Council in 2003, working at the prestigious Town Hall as Venue & Event Manager.

She was responsible for delivering commercial bookings as well as many high profile Civic events such as Freedom of the City Ceremonies for Jurgen Klopp and Jimmy McGovern, and the city’s annual Service of Remembrance. Part of this remit covered the many filming projects which shot in the building and in 2020 she joined the Liverpool Film Office.

Gemma’s current remit covers reporting to a number of stakeholders, both regionally and nationally, across a number of major projects the Film Office is currently delivering.
