He has a comprehensive understanding of the industry, having previously worked at Network Rail; and has successfully managed teams, contracts, budgets, and delivered a wide range of multi-disciplinary projects. Faisal is known for his flexible thinking and holistic approach to project development and delivery. He understands the importance of effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement in mitigating risk and delivering projects on time. Faisal is a member of the Association for Project Management and holds qualifications in Civil & Structural Engineering.

He has worked on various high-profile projects such as the TransPennine Route Upgrade West of Leeds and the Manchester Victoria Station Redevelopment. Alongside this, the Integration Project Manager, will provide insights into how tactical integration is managed on the ground to deliver seamless programme execution. This combined perspective will demonstrate how strategic and tactical approaches work in tandem to overcome challenges, drive innovation, and achieve the overall objectives of the TRU programme.
