Dr Katherine Ingham

Principal P3M Consultant, Costain 

Katherine is currently in the role of Roads Research Alliance Manager for National Highways, developing the Alliance’s governance strategy and leading a partnership of 23 industry partners and the University of Cambridge to develop research outputs into practical applications for the Roads sector. In the last year she has also supported National Highways with the production and publication of its Route Strategy Initial Overview Reports. 

Katherine’s career in P3M began at the University of Leeds where she became Head of the Business Change PMO and Portfolio. Prior to this she was notably Executive Officer to the Vice-Chancellor and the Chief Operating Officer, gaining significant exposure to organisational and portfolio governance. She started her career as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher with Teach First, moving briefly into FMCG retail and also Teacher Education Partnerships.

In 2019 she completed her doctoral thesis looking at the marketing of initial teacher training and the recruitment of teachers. Her varied career to date helps to bring a fresh perspective to the challenges of project management.
