APM Project Management Qualification – ChPP Validated

Are you an APM Project Management Qualification holder aspiring to achieve Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) status? With the launch of a new pathway coming in September 2024, more qualifications, including the APM Project Management Qualification, are now recognised assessments on the path to becoming chartered.

As an APM Project Management Qualification holder wishing to achieve chartered status, you need to validate your experience through our new process. This validation confirms that you meet the Recognised Assessment criteria for Professional Practice for the new pathway. Please note, that this is just one step on your journey.

Please check you have the experience that is required in addition to the APM Project Management Qualification:

  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent) and 36 months experience delivering projects within the past 8 years OR 60 months of experience delivering projects within the past 8 years.

After validation, if accepted, you'll need to meet the remaining chartered eligibility criteria. This includes:

  • Professional practice submission: You'll be required to submit details of your professional practice and experience as part of our online application form.
  • Technical knowledge demonstration: You'll participate in an interview to showcase your expertise and understanding of project management principles.
  • Ethical standards: Your interview will also assess your adherence to professional and ethical standards.
