Pathway 4 is for project professionals who meet the eligibility criteria and have a recognised assessment for both professional practice and technical knowledge.
To apply for chartered status, individuals must be professionally active and meet the following criteria:
If the evidence provided is more than five years old, a currency statement is required to demonstrate how they continue to meet the above criteria.
When you have a recognised assessment that demonstrates your professional practice and technical knowledge, you can apply through Pathway 4. You will follow a two-stage process: a written submission, followed by an interview.

The ChPP Self-Assessment Tool helps assess your readiness and identify the most suitable evidence for your application, as well as highlight areas for development.
For all recognised assessments that have a validity date, the certificate needs to be current at the time of applying.
The annual registration fee will be £93 +VAT, with the first payment due 12 months after award of ChPP. For members of APM, the fee will be aligned to your membership renewal date.
