Ashleigh Hargrave, Head of Strategy, Projects and Management, The Schools of King Edward VI Birmingham
Ashleigh began her career in environmental conservation before transitioning to secondary education and managing regeneration and education programmes. She has worked across secondary, further, and higher education, as well as in charitable organisations, local authorities, and industry. Her projects range from practical conservation efforts to initiatives improving skills, employment, and mental health. She has degrees in environmental management and Sustainable Business Leadership.
Currently, Ashleigh is the Interim Head of Strategy Projects and Management at King Edward VI Foundation, comprising 14 schools, it is the largest educator of secondary school children in Birmingham outside of Birmingham City Council. She leads the development of new strategic projects and Project Management best practices.
Ashleigh is dedicated to Continuous Professional Development (CPD), is a qualified Professional Coach and Mentor, and has applied to become a Chartered Project Professional (ChPP). In her spare time, she supports a local dog rescue centre, participates in Cani cross with her husky, road bikes, and maintains an allotment.
