In this active discussion our expert panel will talk through the challenges of managing stakeholders’ – from sponsors to communities – expectations on sustainable outcomes in projects. We’ll also focus on the value engineering process and discuss strategies to better engage and work with stakeholders.

Why do you think this topic is particularly relevant for project professionals?

Sustainability is at the forefront of project challenges from a commercial perspective, project professionals will be able to navigate project stakeholder sustainability expectations simultaneously with value engineering while maintaining sustainability goals. This will enable them to develop their skills to work closely with project sponsors to drive alignment between business objectives and environmental responsibility.

What excites you most about attending/speaking at the APM Conference?

I am excited for the discussion topics as they are relevant now today and we are influencing the delivery of projects. My key takeaways will be for learning and overcrossing with like mind individuals in practise and how challenges are tackled across sector.
