Amy Morley
Amy is a Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) and strategic leader with significant experience delivering complex and challenging programmes.
Amy is currently a Senior PMO Director at AECOM, an industry leader in programme management services for large, complex infrastructure programmes. Amy is part of the Programme Management Global Business Line within AECOM, supporting clients globally to deliver outcome-driven programmes that deliver social, economic and environmental benefits.
Prior to joining AECOM, Amy spent 10 years at High Speed Two, the UK’s largest infrastructure programme, constructing a new high-speed railway linking up London, the Midlands, the North and Scotland. Amy’s roles included Head of Project Controls, delivering the Phase One Hybrid Bill; Chief of Staff, supporting the CEO and wider executive to deliver key programme and organisation priorities; PMO Director; and most recently Director of Programme Controls with accountability for project controls across all of HS2, ensuring visibility and accuracy of programme performance data and for setting enterprise-wide standards for project controls and project management.
Amy’s background and experience is diverse. Starting her career as a personal assistant, Amy has worked in progressively more senior roles, gaining experience and qualifications in project controls and project management by working on large and complex projects across HS2 Ltd, the Cabinet Office and the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
