Commercial Manager
Salary up to c. £45,000 p.a. plus benefits
Full Time – 35 hours per week

Reporting to the Head of Membership, the Commercial Manager is responsible for leading the business development team in the achievement of the annual revenue generation plan and the development of APM’s commercial revenue stream, principally media and sponsorship sales.

Applicants should be of graduate calibre with proven experience in business development and direct selling particularly in media sales, along with successful experience in relationship management within large, complex organisations.
 
The successful applicant will demonstrate high levels of commercial acumen and negotiation skills.  Excellent numerical and analytical skills are essential, together with high levels of IT skills required for the analysis and presentation of information.  You will also have demonstrable leadership qualities with the ability to influence, persuade and maintain relationships in support of business objectives.

Branch Administrator
Salary £18,750 p.a.
Full Time - 35 hours per week

Reporting to the Branch & SIGs Manager and working with our thriving network of regional branches, the Branch Administrator provides proactive support to our volunteer branch committee members. This role involves supporting the organisation of branch events, publicising the events programme and taking bookings for events by phone, e-mail and via the APM website.

The successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to communicate with professionals at all levels. Applicants should have experience in an administrative role and strong organisational skills combined with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. A confident telephone manner with excellent written communication skills are essential.

This role involves regular evening work – approximately 4 evenings per month. A car driver is essential for this role.

Customer Service Advisor
Salary £20,000 p.a.
Full time – 35 hours per week

Reporting to the operations manager, the customer service advisor is responsible for providing a high quality and effective service to our customers through all channels e.g. e-mail, phone, website and post. This role also involves supporting colleagues and peers to ensure effective delivery of APM’s products and services, coaching and training customer service assistants and producing reports as required.

Applicants should ideally have an NVQ level 2 in Customer Service or should be working towards an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent). Experience within a high quality and busy customer service environment is essential along with a good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM databases. The successful applicant will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer service skills and the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines and customers expectations. A high degree of accuracy is also required for this role.
